Recently, I decided to wear a Christian cross around my neck, when I rarely did before. Why?
Because the symbol of a Christian cross in our current culture is not considered politically correct and even rebellious.

Cicely Mary Barker(1895-1973), was a children's book illustrator who was best known for her watercolours of flowers and fairies. Later in life, she illustrated religious books for children including a book of prayers and book of children's hymns. After her death, she donated all of her work to the Anglican Church.
A few years ago, I came across this image and the story behind it. A little girl had recently lost her mother through civil conflict and she was taken to an orphanage in Romania. One day, her caregivers found she had drawn an image of her mother in chalk and then curled up within in it and fell asleep.
Too much for words..
